No walk today for me and kel just a sleep in. Up for breakfast (no carton eggs for me, but the others said they were ok?) then moving house. Everyone apart from 2 counsellors, Nicky & Leigh moved into the counsellor cabin. We've got water front views now but on the down side we have bunk beds, im up top this week on a crummy matress that you can feel every sprin under but not to worry only for 1 week. Some of the girls put up a washing line and i made some more jewellery and sorted out beads - I taught myself how to make makrame bracelets which are pretty cool. Then the 3 R's, geez i could get use to this!
This afternoon we had a blessing from the nuns where they did some prayers and songs and we each had to go up and put a rock in a bowl (not really sure why, maybe something to do with nature) and introduce ourselves. Yesterday we got our staff shirts that we have to wear on sundays and trip days.
Then after dinner we got Suzanne to drop us into the mall and the Twihard fans went to whatch twilight and then rest of us went and saw 'grown ups' it was hilarious, def recomened it! Some of the new flicks that are coming out looked good too like 'little fockers' and 'the green hornet' with Seth Rogan and I think the chicks will like Katherine Heigal & Josh Duvals new one 'Life as we know it'.
Then off to wal*mart again, did some more shopping and everyone bought fresh fruit which was funny. Then back to camp and up on the bunk!!
Just a quick update on the Cape Yorkers - the dads have reached QLD and the mum's where just about to leave for Cairns. But by the time i post this they will have proably been long gone from Cairns and somewhere in the bush!!
